Celebrating Our Volunteers: The Pillars of DBT-LBC™

In honor of Volunteer Appreciation Month, we are celebrating the true pillars of DBT-LBC™, our volunteers.

DBT-LBC™ is, and always has been, a volunteer-driven organization. With only one paid staff member, we rely on the passion, dedication, and expertise of more than 125 volunteers serving across a variety of committees. You can learn more about our committees here.

Behind every successful organization is a community of people who not only care about the mission, but people who give their time, energy, and talents to make a lasting impact. At DBT-LBC™, that community is our volunteers.

Today, we want to pause and recognize the incredible work happening every day, often behind the scenes, to carry forward the legacy that Marsha Linehan began over a decade ago. DBT-LBC™ would not be where it is today without the unwavering commitment of our volunteers. We know that volunteering isn’t always easy. Time is one of our most valuable resources, and it can be difficult to spare. And yet, you show up with generosity, compassion, and a shared commitment.

You inspire us, not only with your expertise but with your spirit of community, connection, and service. DBT-LBC™ is stronger, better, and more resilient because of you.

We are endlessly grateful for the work you do and the passion you bring to this community.
