Finalizing the Job Task Analysis (JTA) to develop a new written Knowledge Exam
Began collaborating with NEABPD on their Advocacy Efforts
DBT-LBC Letter of Support of DBT HCPCS Code
2024/2025 Legislative and Collaborative Efforts
The Legislative Committee continues to work to advance DBT practice and adequate therapist and program compensation in various states. We continue to fight for “fair” reimbursement fees while educating consumers and payors about the importance of adherence. We have supported the efforts of National Education Alliance for Borderline Personality Disorder (NEABPD) by providing a letter of support that you can read here.
One of the many areas of focus of the Legislative committee is to work to get higher reimbursements and recognition at the state level to increase access of care. Please reach out if you would like to support these efforts or know anyone who may have connections at the state and/or national level.
