The DBT-Linehan Board of Certification™ (DBT-LBC™), Board of Directors is currently accepting applications for up to two At-Large Board Members. We are looking for passionate individuals who share our commitment to certification, both Clinician and Program, and who are eager to contribute their expertise, time, and resources to help us achieve our goals.
Joining our Board of Directors offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the DBT community and work towards furthering our mission and increasing access to care for those in need. You will be part of a group of individuals who are committed to ensuring excellence and adherence to the highest standards in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
Elections will take place at the May Board meeting. You can find the current Board of Directors listed on our website here. At-large Board Members serve a three-year term and, if re-elected, can serve subsequent consecutive terms. See below for more details.
Responsibilities include:
- Attending quarterly Board of Directors Meetings
- Participating on at least one committee with active involvement
- Having the potential to financially support DBT-LBC™ through personal giving or networking with others
Preferred qualifications (not required):
- Experience with/interest in fundraising
- Experience with/interest in legislative efforts
- Experience working with a non-profit organization
- Value the importance of DBT-LBC™ Certification and DBT-LBC™’s overall mission
- Active DBT-LBC™ volunteer
