Our goal for this committee is to expand access to high-quality DBT while growing our network of DBT-LBC™ Certified Clinicians. Many clinicians practice DBT and are not DBT-LBC™ certified, while we understand that there are many barriers and reasons for not pursuing certifications, we would love to have further discussions with clinicians to both understand the barriers better and offer support where we can.
- Seeking enthusiastic volunteers to help lead and grow the committee
- Volunteers will be assigned to certain geographic areas
- Time commitment: 1-2 hours per week
- Task: Identify clinicians who advertise that they provide DBT therapy through sources like Psychology Today, Facebook, Google, or professional networks
- Goal: Gather 10-15 clinician contacts per week
- Tracking: Log contact details (primarily email) in a provided spreadsheet
- Meetings: Monthly check-ins to review progress
