What is the WDBTA Summit?

The WDBTA Summit is more than a conference, it’s a DBT Marathon bringing the international community together. President of DBT-LBC, Kimberly Vay sat down with Professor Michaela Swales, President of the World DBT Association to learn more about this inaugural global event. You can watch the full interview here.

The WDBTA Summit spans across one full day and night, and if you register you will get access to:

  • The latest DBT research and what it means for your clinical practice
  • Deep dive conversations with leading experts exploring core aspects of DBT theory and application
  • A program of interactive clinical workshops, led by world-renowned clinicians
  • Powerful perspectives from service users and family members
  • Opportunities to connect and network with colleagues across continents
  • Insider updates from the WDBTA expert committees shaping the future of DBT

Because the Summit is a global, live 24-hour event, it follows a rolling schedule across time zones.

  • New Zealand: Starts 6:00am, Thursday 29 October
  • Europe: Starts early evening, Wednesday 28 October
  • US / South America: Starts during the day, Wednesday 28 October

No need to calculate the timing yourself, when you register, you’ll receive a calendar invite tailored to your location.

You can join live for as much (or as little) as you would like. All sessions will be recorded, so you can catch up anytime. You can find more details about registration by going to the WDBTA Website.

We hope you will join us in this inaugural global event.
